We were off to a great start for the new semester this past Monday with a variety of songs to play.
There are some of us who would like to play weekly and Duluth Community Education will support this with no additional registration or fee!
Starting Monday, May 3 through August 16, each 1st and 3rd Mondays of those months meeting 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Ordean School we will be playing tunes from a book DUCS has from past sessions: Celtic Songs Strum Together This book has 70 tunes, each with chords for standard ukulele, baritone ukulele, guitar, mandolin and banjo.
These extra dates will not be listed on the Duluth Community Education online class schedule, but are offered to those already registered for the 2nd and 4th Monday sessions. Again, if you wish to join in this extra strummin', you do not need to register again but you do need to purchase the book for your own use. If a non-ukulele player (such as guitar, mandolin or banjo) wish to join in, they will also need to do the one time registration and fee.
