About

We  are a fun strummin' different skill level ukulele group in Duluth, Minnesota.

D.U.C.S. (Duluth Ukulele Community Strum) began the summer of 2017.  It is for ages 18 and older.  We currently meet through Duluth Community Education the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  Check the Calendar on our Blogspot for the most current schedule.

We play from The Daily Ukulele Songbook (yellow book) and The Daily Ukulele Leap Year Songbook (blue book), taking turns selecting a song to play. The Daily Ukulele book comes in two types:  GCEA tuned ukuleles (soprano, concert and tenor) and DGBE tuned ukuleles (bass, baritone) ukuleles.

Come ready to play by bringing with you:
·         A Music Stand
·         The Daily Ukulele Books and list of songs you would like us to play.
·         Your ukulele, tuned and ready to play.

Other instruments are welcome to play along with us such as guitar, mandolin, banjo, etc.
